Steve Austin and The Bioniq Brass Band is one of the newest additions to the Elevated Busking family. He and his music are steeped in the cultural tides of New Orleans soul and brass band tradition. His debut album Head of the Street blends soul, hip-hop and call and response to create a rich sound that you still want to bounce your booty to. 

Austin's goal is always to create movement in the feet and feeling in the hearts of listeners. He has been invited to share stages with The Stooges, Mystikal, Big Ass Brass Band, our own Revelers Hall Band, Mississippi Bastard Project, Terence Bradford and Congo Square to name but a few. Influenced by greats like Keith “Wolf” Anderson and Charles Mingus, Austin captivates audiences with his commanding stage presence and vocals. Lookout, you’ll see him on the big stages like Blue Nile and Tipitina’s!
